About Us

We are a small batch, hand crafted winery with a fresh approach to the wine making scene.  We love Farmersville, the people of North Texas, and we’re excited for the future of this area!

Cedar Hollow Winery was created by the owners, DeWayne and Amy, based on their love of fine wines and passion for quality over quantity. Open to the public since February 2022, all of Cedar Hollow’s wines are fermented and blended on-site.  We pride ourselves on not using bulk wines, extra sweeteners, or additional tannins. Along with the wines we make, our menu includes a few wines from other vintners and vineyards around the world of which we enjoy, or with whom we have a personal connection.

As of November 2024, we have 18 award-winning wines displayed on the tasting rooms’ fireplace mantle.  Kudos and Sante’ to the winemaker, Dewayne Hill! And, we look forward to adding more award winning wines in the future.

More than anything, DeWayne and Amy enjoy making new friends and meeting the people who come out to see us.  We sincerely appreciate your support and look forward to having you as guests at our winery.

Maria (Executive Chef)

Raised in a kitchen filled with tradition, Chef Maria, blends the soulful flavors of her Mexican heritage with classic Italian techniques. She learned her unique style of cooking from her mentor Rossana who has been her biggest influence. Her cooking celebrates family, creativity, and the belief that every meal should bring people together, with good food and great wine!
